AFFLINK hosts benefit for City of Hope

AFFLINK hosted its annual golf classic on January 15 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The tournament raised over $110,000 for City of Hope, a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center.

In support of the event, over 80 golfers were in attendance, representing member distributor and supplier companies from a range of industries including:

  • Industrial Packaging
  • Hygiene
  • Facility Maintenance
  • Food Service
  • Safety
  • Office Supply Solutions

“Each year we are inspired to learn about the advancements City of Hope is making in eradicating cancer and diabetes,” says Michael Wilson, president & CEO of AFFLINK. “We are proud to support their efforts and to promote their mission across our industry. I am honored that AFFLINK can play a key role in helping them achieve such a worthwhile goal.”

City of Hope is one of only 54 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the U.S. The NCI designation recognizes excellence in treatment, research, and expertise to address the many facets of the disease.

They are also a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), reflecting their national leadership in advancing research and treatment. NCCN member institutions are recognized for their world-renowned specialists and for treating complex, rare, and aggressive forms of cancer.

To date, AFFLINK and its partners have helped raise more than $800,000 throughout its six-year partnership with the City of Hope organization.
