ContiTech agricultural belts
ContiTech's Power Transmission Group has developed two new drive belts to complement its portfolio of products for the agriculture industry.
The Conti-V Varispeed wide v-belt was specially developed for the variable speed drives used in many agricultural implements. The Conti-V Multibelt is designed for clutch drives. The two new belts are now part of ContiTech's industrial product portfolio, enabling customers to select from a full selection of drive belts for machine and plant engineering.
Both products are heavy-duty belts that are high energy efficient and virtually maintenance free.
In order to transmit high power safely, the EPDM-based Conti-V Varispeed belt has a low-stretch aramid tensile member, is maintenance free and temperature stable from -30ºC to +140ºC. Thanks to its friction-reduced texture, the high-performance Conti-V Multibelt ensures gentle and silent clutching. The belt's transverse cord reinforcement ensures high lateral stiffness, and also allows for safe transmission of large loads.
