ITW revenues up 16%
Illinois Tool Works Inc. reported a total operating revenue increase of 16 percent for the quarter compared to the year-ago period.
Base revenues contributed 6 percent, while acquisitions added 4 percent and currency translation added 6 percent to total revenues. Worldwide end markets exhibited generally stable growth trends for the three-month period.
On a segment basis, the Polymers and Fluids segment had the largest increase (32%), followed by Transportation (24%), Industrial Packaging (17%), Power Systems and Electronics (16%), and Construction Products (14%).
