Broadus named president of Airgas South
Airgas Inc. announced that Chuck Broadus has been named president of Airgas South, reporting to Mike Rohde, South Division president.
Broadus succeeds Jay Sullivan, who was recently appointed as South Division vice president and chief financial officer. Broadus' career spans more than 15 years in various roles within the industry. As president of Airgas South, one of 12 regional companies that make up Airgas' distribution business, Broadus now leads a region with more than 1,400 employees working in more than 110 locations. Headquartered in Kennesaw, Ga., Airgas South – part of the newly aligned South Division – serves customers in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, eastern Mississippi and southern Tennessee.
"Chuck brings a wealth of business leadership and a deep knowledge of our company, customers and products to this position," said Rohde. "He is ready to contribute immediately as Airgas South progresses through SAP implementation and will play a key role in continued success for the region."
