ILMO Products acquires Smitty's Welding Supply
ILMO Products Company has acquired Smitty's Welding Supply Company of St. Louis, a distributor of medical, industrial, beverage, and laboratory gases, as well as gas and welding equipment.
This acquisition expands ILMO's current St. Louis footprint and total service area while improving the options consumers have in choosing their gas, gas equipment, and welding supply providers, according to a prepared company statement.
ILMO Products Company, a family-owned distributor and specialty gas laboratory since 1913, will merge its St. Louis branch with Smitty's Soulard facility and operations. All Smitty's employees will be integrated into ILMO.
Smitty's Welding Supply has served industrial and beverage gas users for the past 30 years.
ILMO Products Company has nine branches in Illinois and Missouri.
