Applied renews GSA contract

Applied Industrial Technologies announced the successful extension of its General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule contract.

The five-year contract renewal under Schedule 51V, Hardware Store Program from the GSA Center for Facilities Maintenance and Hardware extends through April 2015 and also includes Applied MaintenancePRO training courses to help government facility managers reduce operating costs and increase equipment uptime. Applied was first awarded a GSA Schedule contract in April, 2005.

"In our first five years as a GSA contract holder, Applied proved itself to be a valued partner by providing the highest quality industrial products along with exceptional service and value," said Jeffrey C. Jung, director of government sales. "We are pleased to continue our efforts of delivering value, efficiencies and productivity improvements that serve to help our government customers."

Applied offers more than 400,000 products through the GSA Advantage e-commerce Web site. The company is also an active supporter of GSA events and has won several GSA-sponsored awards.
