Grainger April sales up 16 percent
Grainger reported sales results for the month of April increased 16% versus April 2009.
Results for the month included a 5 percentage point positive contribution from acquisitions and a 3 percentage point contribution from foreign exchange. Excluding acquisitions and foreign exchange, daily sales for the company increased 8%.
Sales in the United States increased by 8%, sales in Canada grew by 43%, and sales for other business, including acquired businesses in Japan and India, increased by 270.
