EIS acquires Fay Electric Wire
EIS Inc., a distributor of electrical insulation and process materials used in the electrical OEM business, announced its acquisition of Fay Electric Wire Corporation of Elmhurst, Ill.
Fay is a distributor of quality electrical process materials to OEMs and repair facilities.
With 2008 sales of $466 million, EIS is a distributor of process materials, production supplies, and value added fabricated parts. Its primary markets include the electrical OEM, apparatus repair and assembly markets. EIS supplies more than 100,000 products from 31 branches and three fabrication facilities located in North America.
EIS Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company, parent corporation of Motion Industries.
