Central Welding Supply acquires A L Welding Products
Central Welding Supply announced the acquisition of A L Welding Products, a distributorship previously owned by Kirby Lang and Air Liquide America Specialty Gases LLC.
“The acquisition of A L Welding Products will add two great new locations for Central Welding Supply in Tukwila, Wash., and Burien, Wash., and will provide expanded service, particularly for medical and specialty gas cylinders in service in the Puget Sound area,” said Dale Wilton, Central Welding president and CEO.
A L Welding Products, which opened in the Seattle market in 1985, has annual revenues of approximately $3 million and eight employees.
Wilton said former A L owner Kirby Lang, and operations manager Karl Ludwig will remain on staff as sales manager and operations manager (respectively) for Industrial, Specialty and Medical Gases for Central Welding Supply.
Central Welding Supply is headquartered in Marysville, Wash.
